Embedded Systems Expert

Founder

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Orehek has over 15 years of experience in the development of embedded real-time systems. He studied electrical engineering at the Technische Universität München (TUM) and worked afterwards as research assistant at the Institute of Real-Time Computer Systems, where he received its Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2003. During his research he worked in industrial projects developing new methods and techniques for the development of real-time embedded systems. Since 2003 he works as a consultant in the field of embedded systems, providing active support in the development of systems, the management of development processes, the introduction of new model based development tools and the training in the use of model based tools for the functional development (e.g. Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, etc.). A few of his customers are The MathWorks Inc., BMW Group, BMW-M, Vodafone D2, Vodafone R&D, Silver Atena, Fraunhofer Innovation Engineering Center (IEC), Alpitronic, Freyer & Siegel.

In 2011 Martin Orehek was called as Professor from the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Applied Science Munich. His main research focus there is in the field of Embedded Software Engineering, especially in the areas: model based design of embedded systems, software architectures for real-time systems, software development processes for embedded systems.
